Marinated Carrots

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. carrots, peeled and cut
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 6 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dill seed
  • 1/2 can tomato soup (undiluted)
  • 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

    Cook carrots in small amount of water until tender (10 minutes).

    Drain.

    Cool.

    Make marinade with remaining ingredients in saucepan.

    Bring to a boil.

    Cool.

    Pour over carrots. Cover. Refrigerate overnight.
