Marinated Green Beans - Jackie

Ingredients

  • 4(16 oz.)cans whole green
  • beans
  • 1 c cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c cold water
  • 3 TBsp. Wesson oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt/pepper
  • 1 c sugar
  • Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1/2 c mayo
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 TBsp. horseradish
  • 1/4 tsp. onion juice
  • (grated onion works fine)

Directions

    Mix vinegar, water, oil, salt/pepper and sugar in bowl. Stir until sugar dissolves. Drain beans. Add to vinegar mixture. Refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally.

    Mix sour cream, mayo, lemon juice, dry mustard, horseradish and onion juice together and chill. Serve in a separate dish.
