Marinated Vegetable Salad

  • 1 can peas, well drained
  • 1 can green beans, cut and drained
  • 1 small can pimentos, chopped fine
  • 4 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 12 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. oil

Directions

    Mix liquids with the sugar and stir until sugar dissolves. Pour this over the other ingredients which have been mixed together.

    Place in refrigerator for 24 hours before serving. This can be added to a lettuce and/or tomato salad or served as a separate side dish.
