  • 450 g cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 125 g raisins
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 12 marshmallows
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

    Place apples, sugar,raisins, 60 mls water and lemon juice in pan.

    gently cook till apples are soft and mushy, around 15 minutes.

    Spoon this mixture into individual serving dishes.

    Top each with 6 marshmallows.

    Sprinkle with spices and sugar.

    Place under a hot grill for about 2 minutes.

    Serve hot.
