  • 2 lb. Bob Evans sausage (or any other sausage with low fat content)
  • 2 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 1 (16 oz.) jar grape jelly (apple will work also)
  • 1 bottle barbecue sauce (Kraft)

Directions

    Combine sausage, turkey and oatmeal.

    Roll meat into marble-size balls and broil 5 to 8 minutes.

    Melt jelly in a large skillet at low to medium high temperature. Add barbecue sauce. Mix well.

    Add meat balls.

    Cover and simmer 30 minutes.

    Stir occasionally.

    Serve hot in chafing dish.
