- 8 to 10 large potatoes
- salt to taste
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 c. milk
- water
Directions

1Peel and cut potatoes into about 8 pieces each.

2Place in saucepan and cover with water.

3Salt may be added before or after cooking.

4Bring to boil and turn down heat to low.

5Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes until potatoes are tender.

6Drain broth from potatoes and put potatoes into mixer bowl.

7Beat on low speed until potato chunks are broken up.

8Add margarine and beat on medium speed until potatoes are smooth.

9Add milk and beat on medium speed until milk is blended with potatoes.
