  • 2 1/2 c. uncooked macaroni
  • 6 Tbsp. chopped onions
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 3 c. canned tomatoes
  • 1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 c. grated cheese

Directions

    Cook macaroni in large amount of boiling salted water until tender.

    Drain in colander; rinse in cold water.

    Cook ground beef with onions, salt and pepper until meat is brown.

    Add cooked macaroni, tomatoes and chili powder.

    Turn mixture into baking dish.

    Sprinkle cheese on top.

    Bake in moderate oven for 30 minutes.
