  • 3 whole chicken breasts
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mild green chilies, drained
  • 1 pkg. corn tortillas (10 to 12)
  • 4 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Wrap chicken breasts securely in heavy foil.

    Bake in a 325° oven for 1 hour or until chicken is tender.

    Cool and reserve broth.
