- 3 c. buttermilk
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. salt
- 6 tsp. baking powder
- 2 cans Mexican corn or 1 large can whole kernel corn
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed
- 1/2 c. oil (hot)
