- 1 c. cornmeal
- 1 can cream-style corn
- 1 c. sweet milk
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 12 oz. cheese, grated
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
Directions

1Mix cornmeal, corn, milk, eggs and salt.

2Set aside.

3Cook ground beef and onion until well done (not brown); turn off heat. Add grated cheese and peppers.

4Mix well.

5Grease skillet and brown a small amount of cornmeal in bottom to prevent sticking. Pour in 1/2 of batter; spoon ground beef mixture over this.

6Add balance of batter.

7Cook 1 hour at 350° or until done.
