- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 3 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 4 c. sifted flour (white bread flour)
Directions

1Mix yeast and warm water.

2Mix dry ingredients (salt, brown sugar and white and wheat flours).

3Mix lukewarm water and margarine.

4Mix yeast-water and margarine.

5Add flour and sugar mixed, a little at a time, until all is mixed.

6Put into greased bowl.

7Cover and let rise.

8Knead and form into loaves.

9Let rise until double.
-
10Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.

11Cover with foil last 30 minutes.
