Ingredients

  • 1 c. yellow corn meal
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 3/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 can chopped jalapeno peppers to taste
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 lb. ground beef, fried and drained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together and pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.

    Great hot or cold.
