  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. margarine, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • pinch of soda
  • 1 small box corn muffin mix or 1 1/2 c. corn muffin mix
  • 1 1/2 c. grated American cheese, divided
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 small jar pimentos

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Mix all ingredients, except cheese. Put half of the mixture in a greased 9-inch square pan.

    Then put 1/2 cup cheese on top.

    Pour in the remaining batter.
