  • Vegetable Oil, For Frying
  • 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • Flour Tortillas

    Pour enough oil in a pan or skillet, so that when frying the tortillas, they are completely covered.

    If they are not, that is ok, because you will flip them in the process anyhow.

    Heat oil on medium heat.

    Mix together your cinnamon and sugar.

    This needs to be in a pie pan or baking dish, so that you can cover one entire tortilla.

    These are meant to be super sugary and packed with cinnamon, so if you feel the need to add more, do it!

    My friends mom always fried the entire tortilla, but you may cut them into fourths, so that they are easier to handle.

    Once the oil is nice and hot, fry your tortillas one at a time.

    Flip, so that both sides are lightly browned.

    Theyll get a little puffy and that is just fine.

    Without draining, toss your tortilla into the sugar/ cinnamon mixture.
