Mexican Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce, broken into small pieces
  • 4 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (1 lb.) can drained kidney beans
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 pkg. broken taco chips
  • 1 (8 oz.) bottle Kraft creamy French dressing

Directions

    Toss the lettuce, tomatoes, onion and shredded cheese together.

    Brown the beef.

    Add the drained kidney beans and salt and pepper to taste.

    Simmer meat mixture about 10 minutes.

    To salad mixture, add the broken taco chips and hot meat mixture. Toss with the French dressing.

    Serves 4 generously.
