- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. nuts (optional)
Directions

1Combine butter, sugars and syrup in 3-quart glass casserole. Microwave 5 minutes or until butter is melted.

2Stir to dissolve sugar.

3Gradually blend in sweetened condensed milk.

4Microwave, uncovered, 13 to 17 minutes (240°), stirring 4 to 5 times.

5Check temperature during last few minutes (between soft and hard ball stage).

6Stir in vanilla and nuts.

7Pour into foil-lined buttered (butter foil well) 8 x 8-inch or 7 x 10-inch pan.

8Cool completely.

9Turn out on board.

10Cut squares; wrap in wax paper.
