- 150 g fresh lotus root
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Directions

1Cut lotus root into thin slices.

2Saute in frying pan with olive oil for a few minutes.

3Be careful not to saute too long, as lotus root tastes best when still a little crunchy.

4Mix in sugar and soy sauce and continue to cook until well incorporated.

5Remove from heat and add sesame oil.
