- 1 large jar mincemeat
- 4 c. plain sifted flour
- 3/4 c. cooking oil
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 2 c. sugar
Directions

1Generously grease and flour tubular cake pan.

2Combine sugar and mincemeat; mix well.

3Add 2 cups flour and 1 cup buttermilk. Mix well again.

4Add remaining flour and milk; mix well.

5Pour into cake pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325°.

6Remove from oven, letting cool for about 10 minutes.

7Remove from pan.

8Remaining cake can be frozen.
