- 3 gal. beef stock
- 1 c. presoaked lima beans
- 1 3/4 c. presoaked navy beans
- 1 c. presoaked split peas
- 6 oz. spaghetti
- 7 oz. rice
- 1/2 c. grated onion
- 3 lb. potatoes, diced small
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 Tbsp. thyme
- 1 1/2 c. celery, diced small
- 5 oz. carrots, cubed
- 12 oz. cabbage, chopped
- 2 qt. canned tomatoes
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 2 c. flour
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Boil first 4 ingredients 1 hour.

2Add spaghetti, boil 1 hour more.

3Add next 9 ingredients and boil 1 hour longer.

4Mix oil and flour with a little soup and then add to the soup to thicken. Yields 57 (1-cup) servings.
