  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 qt. water
  • 40 to 50 stems tea (peppermint or spearmint)
  • 3 oz. lemon juice

Directions

    Add sugar

    to water and tea stems.

    Boil a few minutes; turn off heat

    let stand

    10 minutes, then put through a cloth or strainer and squeeze out stems.

    Add lemon and enough water to make a gallon.

    Chill and serve.
