  • 1 can mushroom pieces
  • 2 teaspoon minced onion
  • 6 minute steaks
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can consomme

Directions

    Drain mushroom pieces.

    Reserve liquid.

    Season with salt and pepper.

    Roll each steak tightly; fasten with toothpicks.

    Place steak in baking pan.

    Pour consomme over steaks.

    Cover.

    Bake in 350° oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until done.

    Remove steaks to hot platter.

    Combine cornstarch and reserved liquid.

    Add to hot consomme and heat until thickened.

    Spoon over steak. Sprinkle with some parmesan cheese, if desired.
