Moroccan Mint Tea

- 1 green tea bag
- 12 cup fresh spearmint, sprigs
- 4 cups water, boiling
- 18 cup sugar (or to taste)
- mint sprig (to garnish) (optional)
Directions

1In a large pot over high heat bring the water to a boil.

2Turn off the water and add the teabag, cover and steep for 5 minutes.

3Rinse the mint.

4Add the mint and the verbena leaves to the pot, cover and steep 5 more minutes.

5Add the sugar and stir to combine, strain and serve.

6Place a sprig of mint in each glass or cup and pour in the strained tea.

7*To serve chilled*.

8Allow the tea to reach room temperature, then transfer the tea to a pitcher, cover and refrigerate until cold.

9This will prevent your tea from getting cloudy.

10Serve in a tall glass with ice and a mint sprig for garnish.
