  • 3 large heads cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 1/2 lb. onions, chopped
  • 2 red bell peppers or 1 jar pimento
  • 1 qt. white Heinz vinegar
  • 1 qt. mustard
  • 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
  • 5 lb. sugar
  • 1/2 box mustard seed
  • 1/2 box pickling spices
