  • 2 lb. beef
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 8 oz. mushrooms
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. white wine
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 pkg. brown gravy mix

Directions

    Cut meat in 1 1/4-inch pieces, roll in flour and brown in large pan with margarine.

    Saute onions and mushrooms in drippings; add to meat with undiluted soup.

    Place in casserole dish and bake at 350° until meat is tender, approximately 1 hour. In small pan, mix gravy mix, sour cream and wine.

    Stir over low heat until well combined.

    Add to casserole and serve over noodles, rice or mashed potatoes.
