  • 1 lb Private Selection Italian Trottole noodles
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 salt (as needed for taste)
  • 1 dash ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (your fave)
  • 1 cup extra cheese (for topping)
  • 1 bacon bits (garnish)

Directions

    Preheat oven 350F.

    Boil noodles as directed.

    Drain and set them aside.

    In same pot used to boil noodles, add the butter and flour.

    Slowly work it into a roux, adding salt for flavor while cooking off the flour.

    Add milk, stir continuously until thickness desired.

    Add black pepper, garlic powder, and nutmeg.

    Add cheese, continue to stir until you have consistency of cheese sauce.

    After noodles are cooled, add egg and fold into noodles.

    Add noodle mixture into cheese sauce.

    Carefully fold noodles into sauce.

    Pour into casserole dish.

    Add the remaining cheese plus bacon bits.
