  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 c. milk

Directions

    In a bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Melt butter and add it to the dry ingredients along with the milk.

    Gradually knead into a ball and place in a greased bowl. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.

    Next, pinch into golf ball sized pieces and deep fry at 450°, turning once.
