  • 5 c. flour
  • 2 c. lard or other shortening
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar (optional)
  • 1 egg and water (total 1 c.)

Directions

    Blend shortening or lard with flour, sugar and salt.

    Beat slightly the egg in a measuring cup and fill the cup with water. Mix with dry mixture.

    This will make several crusts.
