  • 1 lb. lard
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 6 c. pastry flour
  • 1 Tbsp. salt

Directions

    Cut lard with pastry blender.

    Combine with other ingredients. Mix 1 egg and 1 tablespoon vinegar in 1 cup measure.

    Fill to 1 cup level with cold water.
