  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 c. brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
  • 2 1/2 c. quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

    Boil butter, milk and brown sugar for 1 minute.

    Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients; mix well.

    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper to cool.
