- 1 lb. margarine
- 4 c. flour
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 c. sour cream
- 3 slightly beaten egg whites
- 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
Directions

1Cut margarine into flour as for pie dough.

2Beat together egg yolks and sour cream and add to flour mixture.

3Mix well.

4Divide dough into 6 pieces.

5Wrap in wax paper and chill 6 hours.

6Roll each piece on floured board to a 12-inch circle.

7Brush with egg white; sprinkle with combined nuts and sugar.

8Cut into 12 wedges. Roll from wide end to point; shape into crescents.

9Brush again with egg white and nut mixture.

10Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350° approximately 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
