- 2 1/2 sticks margarine (butter is best)
- 8 heaping Tbsp. confectioners sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 4 c. plain flour
- 1 to 2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
Directions

1Cream the margarine and sugar; add flour, vanilla and nuts and blend well.

2If necessary sprinkle it with cold water to get it workable.

3Use 1 teaspoon of mixture to roll out in hand the finger-shaped confection.

4Bake at 325° for 25 minutes.

5Turn to broil for last few minutes to give crispness.

6Cool, then roll in sugar.
