- 1 c. margarine, softened
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c. applesauce (with no sugar added)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. quick-cooking rolled oats (uncooked)
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2In a medium bowl, combine margarine, brown sugar, applesauce and vanilla.

3Stir by hand.

4Add oats, raisins, cinnamon and baking powder; mix well.

5Pour batter into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

6Bake for 30 minutes or until edges are golden brown.

7Let cool and cut into bars.

8Makes 24 squares.
