  • 2 cups Uncooked Quick Cooking Oats
  • 1/2 cups Lite Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 cups Dried Fruit Chopped Such As Raisins, Dried Cranberries Or Apricots
  • 1/4 cups Chopped Pecans
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1-1/2 cup Fat Free Milk
  • 1/2 cups Applesauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 whole Large Egg

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Melt butter in an 8-inch square baking dish in the microwave. Combine the first five ingredients in a bowl (oats, sugar, dried fruit, nuts, baking powder).

    Combine milk, applesauce, and egg in the baking dish. Mix and add this mixture to the oat mixture.

    Pour everything back into the baking dish and bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

    Serve warm. Makes five servings and can be refrigerated and reheated the next day.
