Ingredients
- 1 c. quick oats
- 1/2 c. wheat flour
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. oil or margarine
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 4 1/2 c. white flour
Directions

1Combine the first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.

2Pour the boiling water over mixture and stir.

3Let cool to lukewarm temperature.

4Dissolve the yeast in the warm water.

5Add to lukewarm batter.

6Stir in the flour.

7If dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.

8Let rise.
-
9Punch down and let rise again. Place dough into two loaf pans.

10Let rise again. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
