- 1 c. quick oats
- 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 c. brown sugar (slightly fill)
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- pinch of sugar
- 5 c. white flour plus a little more
Directions

1Combine in a large bowl the oats, whole wheat flour, brown sugar, salt and margarine.

2Pour the boiling water over.

3Stir into combined ingredients and let set until lukewarm.

4Dissolve in a cup the yeast in the warm water and a pinch of sugar.

5Stir in the white flour.

6Let raise.

7Punch down.

8Let raise again.

9Make out 2 loaves.

10Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
