Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. onions, chopped
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 c. carrots, sliced
  • 1 c. celery, diced
  • 1 c. potatoes, pared and cubed
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes

Directions

    Cook and stir meat in large saucepan until brown.

    Drain fat. Cook and stir onions with meat until onions are tender.

    Stir in remaining ingredients; heat to boiling.

    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes.
