  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp. slat
  • dash of pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. thinly sliced okra

Directions

    Combine first 6 ingredients; stir in okra.

    (If batter is too moist, add a bit more hush puppy mix.)

    Pour into greased and floured 8-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until golden.

    Cut into squares.
