- 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. margarine or butter
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp. rubbed sage
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of ground black pepper
- 1/2 c. water or broth
- 8 c. dried bread cubes (10 to 12 bread slices), cubed and dried overnight
Directions

1Cook and stir onion and celery in margarine in medium skillet ove medium heat until tender.

2Stir in seasonings.

3Add onion mixture and water or broth to bread cubes in large bowl.

4Toss to mix.

5Stiff neck and body cavities of turkey.

6Roast immediately. Makes 8 cups; enough for a 12 pound turkey.
