- 1 pt. heavy cream
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
- 1 baked pie shell
- 1 recipe whipped cream topping
Directions

1Heat the heavy cream in top of double boiler.

2Mix the sugar, flour and salt.

3Pour hot cream over mixture, stirring well. Return to double boiler and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.

4Remove from heat and add egg whites.

5Pour into pastry shell and bake in hot oven (400°) for 15 minutes.

6Chill and cover with whipped cream topping.
