  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 4 egg whites

Directions

    Mix sugar, egg yolks, flour, milk, butter and vanilla.

    Pour into unbaked pie crust and bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 325° and bake about 25 minutes or until firm.

    Beat egg whites and put on top.

    Brown on top.

    Makes 1 pie.
