- pastry for two crust pie
- 3 c. mincemeat (28 to 30 oz. jar)
- 1 1/2 c. chopped apple
- whipped cream
Directions

1Heat oven to 425°.

2Mix mincemeat and apple.

3Pour into pastry lined pie pan.

4Cover with top crust which has slits in it.

5Seal and flute.

6Cover edge with 1 1/2-inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent excess browning.

7Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until crust is nicely browned.

8Serve slightly warm with whipped cream on top.
