  • 1/2 ounce Cynar (bitter artichoke aperitif)
  • Ice, plus 1 large ice cube for serving
  • 1 maraschino cherry, for garnish

    In a mixing glass, combine the rum, Heering and Cynar; fill with ice and stir well.

    Strain into a chilled rocks glass over the large ice cube and garnish with the cherry.
