  • 1 lb. orange slice candy
  • 1 c. Angel Flake coconut
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

    Chip nuts, candy and dates.

    Add coconut.

    Melt butter and pour over the eggs, sugar, soda, salt and buttermilk.

    Add to the nuts, then add flour.
