Ingredients
- 1 lb. bean sprouts
- 1 1/2 c. steamed rice
- 1 c. celery, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
- 2 small carrots, finely grated
- 3 green onions and tops, sliced
- 2 c. diced, cooked chicken
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds, toasted
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 c. French dressing
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- soy sauce (optional)
Directions

1Cook bean sprouts in small amount of salted water for about 3 minutes, just until tender-crisp.

2Drain and cool.

3Combine first 8 ingredients and chill thoroughly.

4Add salt,

5pepper and lemon juice.

6Add dressing and toss lightly.

7Sprinkle with soy sauce, if desired.
