- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. flour
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
Directions

1Mix the first 3 ingredients like pie crust.

2Pat into cookie sheet (ungreased) in 2 strips, 3 inches wide and as long as the sheet.

3Put water in saucepan with butter.

4Heat to boiling point. Remove from heat and add flour, all at once; immediately stir until smooth (using wooden spoon).

5Stir in 1 egg at a time and beat well after each addition; add flavoring and spread on top of first mixture.

6Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.
