Oven Browned Chicken(Serves 100, 3 Pieces Each)

  • 6 lb. onions, thinly sliced
  • 300 single pieces chicken
  • 3 c. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. paprika
  • 3 lb. margarine or butter, melted

Directions

    Arrange half of the onion slices on bottoms of shallow baking pans.

    Add chicken pieces.

    (Do not pile on top of each other.) Top with remaining onions.

    Combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika.

    Sift over chicken and onions.

    Pour on butter.

    Bake in moderate oven at 375° for 1 hour or until brown and tender.

    Serve with its onion and juice.
