Oven "Fried" Green Beans

  • 1 (16 ounce) bag green beans
  • 2 shallots
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    steam bag of green beans in microwave for roughly 5 mins.

    dice shallots.
  4. 4
    combine beans, olive oil, shallots, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss together by hand or with tongs.

    spread over a baking pan as evenly as possible and place in oven.
  6. 6
    check and move beans around with a spatula every 10 mins or so. If they become chard, it is not an issue as this is what you will want.

    remove from oven after about 30 mins and enjoy!
