  • 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 lb. stew meat
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 c. onion, diced
  • 2 c. celery, diced
  • 3 Tbsp. dry Minute tapioca
  • 2 c. carrots, diced
  • 2 c. potatoes, diced
  • 1 (15 oz.) Hunt's tomato sauce (special)
  • 1 pkg. dried onion soup
  • 2 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Place ingredients in layers in casserole dish or Dutch oven. Don't mix and don't brown meat.

    Bake in 250° oven for 4 to 5 hours, covered.
