Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. white or brown rice
  • 1/2 c. wild rice
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 c. toasted almonds
  • 1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup or cream of celery soup

Directions

    Pour boiling water over rice.

    Let stand for 10 minutes. Drain.

    Brown hamburger and onion; drain.

    Dissolve bouillon cubes in 1 cup boiling water.

    Stir in rice, almonds, mushrooms, meat and soup.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    Bake 2 hours at 350°, covered.

    Remove cover last 30 minutes.
