  • 1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen (small) English peas, cooked according to directions and drained
  • 2 cans undiluted cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • dash of black pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped pimento
  • 1 pkg. slivered almonds, toasted in stick of butter

    Mix in this order:

    peas, soup, sugar, pepper, pimento and almonds.

    Heat from the peas will be enough to warm the other ingredients.

    Mix well and serve.
